Coming Soon, How to Stream like a Professional Amateur

Another day, another lack of explosion.
Go team us!

Lets begin, were you aware that I stream games?
Well you should be aware of it by now, I’ve mentioned it a few times and even shown off my channel on the front page.
There should even be a popup when I go live, but I don’t know about that since I don’t bother to check my site when I am streaming because (believe it or not) I am too busy streaming to do things like this.

By no means am I popular, on a good day I average about 5 viewers, but generally I am lucky to get 2, but I enjoy what I do and I want to do more of it.
But one thing I did over this past year was write a basic “How to” guide to streaming aimed at those involved in the Charity Stream we did in April.
The guide is a little out dated now as the application I based the guide on (OBS), is being replaced by OBS Studio, so it has enough of a difference to make things slightly confusing.
I was contemplating reworking my guide for Studio and releasing it here.

So I have a question for you fine fellows this lazy Sunday.
Who wants to see a new Guide to Streaming?
What topics do you want covered?

I’m thinking the main topics I will be starting with:-
Setting up your stream (The technical side)
Making your stream look good
Integrating alerts
I want music
Building your channel

I will just remind you that all of my advice is subjective to my own experience, so you might find that your mileage varies, I will try to make it as general as possible but I can not promise it.
And as always, if you have any suggestions or questions, leave them below and I’ll get to them when I can.

Stay schwifty folks.
