Hatred – to kill or not to kill

Have you heard about hatred?
I hadn’t till today, but apparently it’s a game in which you play a killer who kills people.
That’s it, you’re a murderer, no justification for your actions, nothing but a hatred for humanity.

Despite its criticism, work grand theft auto didn’t really require you to kill anyone who didn’t deserve it, you were a criminal fighting criminals and the police.
Despite this you were free to go on a rampage and kill anyone you like, if you wanted to play as a mass murderer then you can, but it is not what the game makes you do.

So, hatred doesn’t let you do anything that you can’t do already, it’s just removing the rest of the game you would find in GTA.
The developers (Destructive Creations) claim “These days, when a lot of games are heading to be polite, colorful, politically correct, and trying to be some kind of higher art, rather than just an entertainment–we wanted to create something against trends”, but with the popularity of games like GTA, can we really believe that games are getting too Politically Correct?

What do you think? Do computer games need to be saved from political correctness gone mad or are the developers just blowing smoke and going for shock factor for marketing?
I will be voting with my wallet and frankly unless I hear amazing things about it I really can’t see myself wanting to play this game.
